Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup corn syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Salt, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method, either in an air popper, on the stove top or in the microwave.

  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
